Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your offer quoting us prices and indicating the delivery time for Wallpaper BEAU 44. We would be pleased to place our order in accordance with the specification of 10 August subject to your shortening the delivery time at least to three months. Since we must have this merchandise for the annual fair, please confirm that you will deliver by 30 September at the latest.

As to the terms of payment suggested by you, considering the more favorable terms offered by other manufacturers, we propose payment for collection.

We also suggest that the contract for this equipment should embody our General Conditions, which are identical with those submitted to you at our last meeting.

May we stress yet again it is essential that the goods should be packed in fireproof containers and it is imperative that delivery be by the deadline as it will otherwise be impossible for us to furnish you with our order.

Dear Mr Goncharovskij,

We have received your letter of the 3rd July for which we thank you.

We have given careful attention to your counter-offer and looked into the time required for the delivery.

We agree to shorten the delivery time and reduce it to 5 months. We regret that we cannot accelerate the delivery due to pressure of orders and particularly large size of your order. However, we are willing to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with your company and can offer the following solution.

 We may supply you with the trial order of 1,000 rolls of WallBEAU 44, 57, 68 by 30th September to enable you to participate in the annual fair and exhibit our goods. Delivery: ex-stock air-freighted. Payment for collection.

 The substantial order itself may be delivered ex-works by 15th January at the latest by truck. Taking into account the size of your order payment can be made by a Letter of Credit.

Prices: unchanged notwithstanding means of transportation.

Validity of this offer: 31st August 20__. Please let us know if this solution meets your requirements and approval.
