The Absolute Participial Complex

The Absolute Participial Complex is a construction in which a participle has its own subject expressed by a noun or personal pronoun and is used in the function of adverbial modifier of time, cause, manner or attending circumstances and condition.

Гаррі Гаррісон народився 1925 року, і на свій вісімнадцятий день народження

був призваний до війська. Друга світова війна наділила його ненавистю до всього військового, що проявилося в такому сатиричному романі як «Білл – герой галактики».
