2.The objectives of the study of the discipline

a)formation of knowledge about management and knowledge

economy, organization of the development and promotion of innovative product.

b)the study of the intellectual potential of technology analysis, evaluation of intellectual property, development and promotion of innovative products;

c)the teaching of management training, implementation of projects to develop and promote an innovative product in the organization.

3. Expected results formulated in the form of competencies

SC-13 owns assessment methods and cost management business and is able to find and attract resources to implement business projects,

SC-14 has the skills to analyze the status and trends in the development of modern innovative technologies and is able to apply the organizational and managerial innovations in industrial enterprises;

SC-16 is capable of generating and implementing business ideas and social initiatives and is able to manage knowledge, as part of business scope, applying knowledge about the basics of competitive intelligence in their operations.

What is the difference between knowledge as a resource and other resources of the organization?

What does the organization do in the management of knowledge? What steps are implemented in the management of knowledge? What knowledge management technology are used by the

What determines the choice of method in knowledge models? How to choose the method of creating and sharing knowledge?

What is the mechanism of copyright? What kind of relationship it regulates?

Is it true that the copyright system is a precondition for the creation of new products?

How does the copyright impact the competition in the market? How to determine whether the author needs to resort to support of

the merchants?

What is the difference between copyright compliance today and copyright in mid-twentieth century?

The content of the game:

Students compare the benefits of ownership of the authenticity of software or other copyrighted material with the risks associated with the acquisition and use of pirated products. Students then apply their skills of critical thinking to produce an independent assessment for the purpose of comparing the benefits and risks.

Learning goals and objectives:

Learn to identify potential risks associated with the use of counterfeit software and other forms of intellectual property,

Assess and explain the origin of risks in respect of both genuine and counterfeit products, and to share their understanding of the risks.

Action:

Organize debates, dividing students into two groups, one of which takes the side of the genuine products, the other - counterfeit. Within 10-15 minutes, the group must prepare arguments to defend their position.

Students can be encouraged to explore beforehand the information on the pros and cons, benefits and risks of each option (eg, http://www.microsoft.com/ru-ru/antipiracy/default.aspx).

B. Determine the explanationsargument against pirated products and methods of persuasion (incentive or coercion) to use the genuine products with the observance of copyright.

Theme 2. Analysis of the intellectual potential (2 hours)

The concept of "intellectual capacity". Intellectual Property: concept, types, protection, commercialization. The level of technology in the enterprise. Intellectual potential of an employee, an organization, an institute.

Theme 3. Assessment of intellectual property (2 hours)

Procedures and methods of evaluation of intellectual property. Evaluation of copyright of industrial properties, licenses, brand, knowhow transfer, an innovative project.

Theme 4. Economics of copyright (2 hours)

The concept of "copyright". The origin of copyright, copyright wear. The boundaries of copyright. Regulation of copyright scale.

Theme 5. Development of an innovative product (2 hours)

Technologies and innovative product development stages. The life cycle of a product, a new technology creation. Evaluating the effectiveness of НИОКР. Risk assessment of innovative projects.

Theme 6. Marketing of an innovative product (2 hours)

Marketing information, its sources, market overview, demand analysis, organizing marketing research of innovative products. Innovative business models. The profit model. Positioning an innovative product on the market. Marketing of radical innovative products.

Theme 7. Management of innovative projects (2 hours)

Organization and management system of an innovative project. A business plan as the main document assessing the viability of an innovative project. Commercialization of an innovative project. Financing of an innovative project.

7.Control measuring materials for ongoing monitoring of progress, interim certification on the basis of the study of the discipline

Current control is performed by using:

1)preparation of a report presentation: maximum score - 10.

2)participation in the discussion at the lecture: the maximum score

- 10.

3) implementation of the written ISW, oral presentation, presentation on ISW: maximum score - 30.
