CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS
Doing some activity in the classroom a teacher should be sure that his instructions are clear to his pupils. The classroom instructions given below may come handy for a young teacher. Study them attentively and practise introducing activities of your own.
Introducing a listening activity
Act as a teacher and introduce a listening activity with the following instructions. Read them and then fill in the blanks.
“OK, now this time we’re going to listen 1)…… the excerpt again but in greater detail. I want 2)…… to 3)………. .the summary of the excerpt as you listen. OK? That’s right, fill 4)…. the blanks in this passage.
