People In My Family

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mary Smith. I’m eighteen years old and I’m a first-year student. My family is not very big, just a typical family: a father, a mother, my sister, me, my cousin and grandmother.

As for my mother, her name is Jane Smith. She is a teacher of Spanish at the University. She is fond of singing karaoke. Unfortunately my parents aren’t married now – they are divorced.

My sister, Caroline, is twenty-eight and she is an accountant. She’s married to Mark. Mark is from Canada. They’ve got two daughters: Ann, who is five and Mary, who’s two years old. They are very funny and I like to spend my free time teaching them something.

My cousin Martha is from America. She’s nineteen and she isn’t married. She is a student at the University. She’s got a boyfriend – his name is David. He is twenty. He isn’t a student, he’s a professional musician.

I love my family very much. We always help each other. Everyone in my family is my best friend.
