6. Несколько прилагательных образуют степени сравнения от разных основ. Их рекомендуется запомнить:
good/well - better - (the) best – хороший - лучше - лучше всех
bad - worse - (the) worst - плохой - хуже - самый плохой, хуже всех

Helen: Hello, children. Welcome to Playtime. It's unit 24 today – "The thief". Look, I've got to post some letters, a postcard and a parcel. What's (= what is) the time? Police officer: Excuse me. Is this yours?

Police officer: And what about the money? "City Bank!" You're under arrest!
Helen: Jack and Jill are very good detectives, aren't they? Let's have a look at some pictures from our story now.
The thief asked Jill the way, "How do I get to the park, please?" And the thief wanted to know, "How far is it?" And here's the park where Jack and Jill want to catch the thief.
Jack said, "Let's hide behind the tree."
When the thief fell off the bike his glasses fell down too. Jill picked them up and said, "You've lost your glasses."
Jack called the police. The policeman handcuffed the thief and said, "You're [jɔ:] under arrest!" Let's have a look at our two detectives again.
