Summary

Helen is phoning Jack and Jill. They are on holiday in Scotland. They like their holiday there. It's evening. They have to go to bed now. Jack is reading a book about ghosts in Scotland. Jill is afraid of ghosts. Jill is asleep. She is dreaming of Pooh and Penelopy. In her dream they are dancing downstairs. But it's only (только) a nice dream. In reality (в действительности), nobody is dancing downstairs. Dreams are idle (беспо­лез­­ный, пустой).

A boat ride

Helen: Hello, children! Welcome to Playtime. Do you like our program? Do you like Jack and Jill? Well, they are on holiday in Scotland and they're [ðeə] going on a boat ride with Grandpa today. What a fine day for a boat ride! Look. The sun is out and there are no clouds in the sky. I want to paint my door today. Look. Here are some pots of paint. There's red, yellow, green, orange and brown. I like yellow. I want to paint my door yellow. Where's my brush? Can you see my brush? Ah, here it is. It's under the chair… Oh dear! Oh dear! What a mess!

Jill: What's that?

Jack: A letter for Helen. What's her address?

Jill: 10 Playtime street

Helen: What's that noise? It's a helicopter. Oh, it's Pooh.

Pooh: Hello, Helen!

Helen: Hello, Pooh! What are you doing here?

Pooh: I've got a letter for you. Sorry…

Helen: That's all right. Thank you, Pooh. A letter from Jack and Jill. And lots of photographs.

Dear Helen,

How are you? We're [wɪə] fine. We're [wɪə] going on a boat ride with Grandpa. It's a super holiday. Love from Jack and Jill

What a nice letter! Look at those clouds. The weather is changing. Come inside, Pooh. Here, Pooh. Have a glass of milk. (Syntax error, silly Pooh!!!)
