There are several words in English standing for theUkrainian equivalent ціна: price, charge, fare, toll, fee, rent, rental. Though these words are synonyms they denote different payable objects and their usage depends on the situation.
Price is the most neutral word among above mentioned. Price can be high and low, fixed or stable and prices for things can rise and fall.
Charge has a different meaning. Charges are paid for gas and water. Charges for services (for cleaning, extra/additional) and so on.
Fare is paid for travelling (bus, train, air fare).
Toll is paid for professional services (school, legal, medical fees).
Rent for flat, compartment, house, room and so on.
Rental is paid for the usage of hired things (the rental on the TV, car or tools etc).

It is common in English to use nouns in a similar way to adjectives, to modify other nouns.
