VII. Oral practice:
Exercise 13. Speak about your future speciality using the following questions as a plan and useful phrases:
1). What is your future speciality? Describe your department.
2). What is the course of study? (general, special subjects, research work)
3). What are your job prospects?
4). What information can you give about the State Tax Administration of Ukraine?
5). Why have you chosen your speciality? What purpose do you want to utilize your knowledge and skills for?
Useful phrases: to study at the department; to carry out preparation of specialists; to realize oneself in research work; integration of Ukraine with the world community; future career; to have a dream come true; transition to the market economy; in accordance with modern economic conditions; to contribute to the formation.
Exercise 14. Make up the dialogues of your own on the following situations. Dramatize them.
Situation 1.
You have met your own ex class-mate. Now you are students. Speak about your educational institutions, subjects to be studied, subjects you are interested in, academic activities, courses of education and presupposed careers.
Situation 2.
Today is your first working day at the State Tax Administration of Ukraine. Speak with your chief about your duties.
Situation 3.
You are meeting foreign students. Tell them about the requirements of our society to a specialist, about your University, your faculty and your future speciality.
