Text About myself and my family

I want to tell you about my friend. His name is Boris. Now he is seventeen years old. He was born in 1986 in Volgograd. He was born into a teacher’s family. His mother is forty. She works as a teacher of English at a secondary school. His father is forty-five. He is a physical education lecturer at the pedagogical university.

At the age of seven Boris entered the secondary school and began to go in for sports. He took up different kinds of sports but he liked swimming best of all. Boris trained hard and was a success in sports. He achieved the first sporting grade at the age of fourteen.

When he was in the 10th form he began to prepare for the entrance exams to the Physical Education Academy.

After finishing school Boris passed his entrance exams successfully and entered the Physical Education Academy. Now he is a first-year student. When his classes are over he goes to the outdoor swimming pool where he trains hard. Now Boris has the title of Candidate Master of Sports and he has two training sessions a day. He often takes part in different competitions and usually takes first, second or third places. After graduating from the Academy Boris will become a coach.
