Вказйжа на предмет, а прикметник - ознака, його характерна риса. Числ1вник - кшьюсть, а вигук - i пояснювати соромно. Чому ж тод1 сполучник е сполучником? Xi6a це вичерпна характеристика його р13ноб!чно1 д1яльноеп? Ну. Гаразд, нще правди дгга, поеднав кшька раз!в самотш серия, себто слова, примирив друз1в. Що посварилися, познайомив новеньких. 1ншим разом навггь клонуватися довелося, щоб 3i6pa™ цший гурт однодумщв (однорщних члешв речения, хто не зрозум1в). Навггь на поступки йшов: то вигукував дзвшко "i", якщо поряд видшеться прив1тний приголосний, то переходив на таемничий "й", коли пом1чав неподалш голосного. шскшечки не постраждае. А хто прийде на допомогу, коли треба розборонити розбишак, яю, немов молод! ш'вники, готов1 атакувати одне одного?
Коли, зрештою, автор перебувае у сташ глибокого сумшву i прагне пщкреслити це вишуканим сл1вцем? Чи то ... чи то, не то ... не то, або ... або, чи ... чи - на будь-який смак! Та щ умшня становлять лише м1зерну частину того, на що спроможна така, здавалося б, непом1тна частина мови. Хто, як не вона, майстерно nopieroje явища шляхом i'x зютавлення? Сполучник, бшьше шкому. А за потреби вш може так змшитися, що й год1 ушзнати: не ттъки ... а й, не лише ... але й, як ... так i... ось вам i "непом1тний" (такий його р!зновид називаеться градацганим).
Чому ж ми зупиняемось на слов1 "сполучник"? Так само вш може 1менуватися еднальником, зютавником, а то i геть незвично -градацшником. Хоча ... напевно, з ycix названих функцш еднан-ня е найважлившою, адже сила наша - в едноеп (Анна Руденко).

IV.
