[Text of "Decree of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine On the Procedure for Enacting the Law of Ukraine "On Containing Monopolism and Preventing Unfair Competition in Business Activities"]
[Text] The Supreme Soviet of Ukraine hereby resolves:
1. To enact the Law of Ukraine "On Containing Monopolism and Preventing Unfair Competition in Business Activities" of 15 March 1992.
2. To declare it necessary to form the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in the first quarter of 1992.
To charge the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine with nominating a candidate for the position of the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
To charge the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine with submitting a list of candidates for the positions of state commissioners of the Antimonopoly Committee to the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine.
3. That the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine shall prepare and submit for approval by the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine a draft of the Statute on the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine by 1 March 1992.
4. That the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:
1) shall prepare and submit for review by the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine a program for demonopolizing the economy by 15 March 1992;
2) by 15 April 1992:
—according to established procedure, the Cabinet of Ministers shall eliminate the organs and structures of branch management of the economy at all levels, as well as all associations formed on the basis of ministries and departments, except for such natural monopolies as communications (telephone, telegraph, post office), railroads, pipelines, and air transportation;
—shall submit recommendations on ensuring the consistency of all legislative acts of Ukraine with the Law of Ukraine "On Containing Monopolism and Preventing Unfair Competition in Business Activities" for review by the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine;
—shall ensure the consistency of the decrees of the Government of Ukraine with the Law of Ukraine "On Containing Monopolism and Preventing Unfair Competition in Business Activities";
—shall ensure a review of the normative acts passed by ministries, state committees, and departments of Ukraine and the abrogation of any acts that contravene this Law;
3) shall provide the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine with offices by 15 March 1992.

[Text]
1. The Statute on the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Under the President of Ukraine (Appendix No. 1) shall be approved.
2. Yevtnkhov, Vasiliy Ivanovich shall be appointed as chairman of the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Under the President of Ukraine.
3. The composition of the personnel staff of the Council of Industrialists and. Entrepreneurs Under the President of Ukraine (Appendix No. 2) shall be approved.
