Unit 2. Our university

1. Read and translate the text:

I study at Chcrnivtsy Trade and Economics Institute. It is one of the structural subdivisions of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics which was founded in 1966 and which is now one of the leading higher educational institutions in Ukraine. The University trains the specialists for the non * production sphere: trade, financial institutions and banks, hotels and tourist complexes, etc.

The Chernivtsy Institute has three faculties (schools): Economics and Management, Accounting and Finance and Entrepreneurship. It is an educational establishment of the highest level. Our Institute offers degrees of specialists in management, marketing, economy of enterprises, international economy, accounting and auditing, finance and credit, tourist and hospitality business, economy cybernetics.

Professors and scientists do their best to perfect forms and methods of teaching and carry on the important research work to raise the social prestige of the University.

Our students are provided with all necessary conditions for study and life. Modern classrooms and studies, computer labs, a library and a reading hall, dormitories with cozy rooms are at our students' disposal.

Our Institute has three departments: a daytime department, an evening department and a correspondence department.

After graduation from the University I will receive a degree of a specialist in tourism management (in hospitality, resort and tourism service).
