Our school has a wide range of out-of-class activities. They offer opportunities to develop different talents and skills and test them in different school event.
For example if you are fond of music and singing you may join our "Singing club". If you enjoy doing puzzles and brain teasers, or play board and math games you may visit the club of “Brain teasers”. If you are keen on sports you’ll have a lot of opportunities to choose any kind of sport club in our school.
You see “Where is a will there is a way”
Tell me about your favourite school tradition
A school year is full of events. Many of the events happen every year on the same dates. They are traditions. My favourite school tradition is the Last Bell. It happens on the last school day. It’s a special day for all the students, especially for those who graduate. Our teachers take part in the event, too. Even our parents come and take photos. Everyone is excited. The day starts with a school gathering. We stand in front of the school and listen to the speeches of our teachers, schoolmates and parents. Then we have a concert. We are a bit sad on this day because we say goodbye to our classmates and teachers. We won’t see them the whole summer. The events on this day are usually the same every year but everyone waits for this day, likes it and remembers it.

What kind of job would you like to have in future?
Does a person need to possess special qualities to become a good specialist in this or that particular field? Why?
What questions will you ask your future employer when applying for a job?
Give me some advice on how to behave at a job interview to create a positive impression on the employer
Today some young people think that having a good education is very important. Do you agree with them?
What kind of job would you like to have in future?
One of the most difficult things when you leave school is deciding on the sort of job you want to do. While choosing a career you should take into consideration all main possibilities that your future profession might provide: the profession must be interesting, you have to be sure of your future, a profession must be well-paid, otherwise you won’t be able to support yourself and your future family.
For me interesting and creative work is the most important thing. I want to enjoy my work and get satisfaction from it.
I want to become a computer programmer. I’m interested in computers. It’s a whole new world.
I think that the profession of programmer can give me many opportunities. Computers are the most fast changing sphere of modern technology. We are living in the age of information. And I think that the future is just filled with computers.
Does a person need to possess special qualities to become a good specialist in this or that particular field? Why?
Yes, of course. Each profession needs special qualities. To become a good specialist you should analyze if the job is suitable for you and if you are suitable for the job. Otherwise the job may later turn into a nightmare.
What questions will you ask your future employer when applying for a job?
Do you need any qualifications?
Is any experience required?
How much is the salary?
Give me some advice on how to behave at a job interview to create a positive impression on the employer
Dress smartly according to the formal occasion. It shows that you are well brought up and responsible
Don’t use your mobile phone
Enter the room with a bright and happy smile
Don’t sit down if not asked to
Don’t chew your nails or fingers or toss your hair all the time. It only shows that you are too nervous and not well-prepared
Keep your answers simple, relevant and interesting
And I hope my advice will help you to create a positive impression.

9. Life in the city and in the country
Tell me about your dream house
Do you find your city/town/village a comfortable place for living?
Your family is going to move. What questions will you ask your parents about your new flat/house?
Your friend doesn’t know what to choose: to live in a city or in the country. GIve him/her some advice
Describe the best place you would like to settle down when you leave school
Tell me about your dream house
I’d prefer to live in a modern house with large windows. The house will be surrounded by a nice garden with fruit trees. The house will be spacious, so there is enough place for everybody. My house will have all the necessary conveniences. On hot summer days we’ll have meal in the garden, children will swim in a pool. On cold winter days we’ll spend time sitting in front of the fireplace. It will be the best house.
Do you find your city/town/village a comfortable place for living?
Yes, of course. I find my settlement a comfortable place for living. It isn’t large, but is very green. There are parks in the center of my settlement, trees and flowers. Everything is close. There are two banks, a post-office, many shops, a school, a hospital, a playground. There are not many cars, so the air is fresh. There is a forest where you can pick berries and mushrooms, or simply have a rest and listen to the birds singing. There is a large lake where you can swim in a hot summer days or go fishing.
My settlement is a very picturesque place.
