Itinerary
Days 1-4
The tour begins with three days in New York City, the largest and busiest city in the USA. You can see the Statue of Liberty, visit the city's museums and spend an evening at Carnegie Hall, one of the best concert halls in the world. The city has a rich and varied culture, so there is plenty to see and do.
Days 4-7 In Washington DC, capital of the USA, you will tour the White House, the most famous building in the city and home to the President. You will also visit Georgetown, the oldest neighbourhood in Washington DC. For history lovers, Washington DC has more than 300 memorials and statues, and there are several museums in the Federal Triangle, which is the largest complex of public buildings in the city.
Days 7-9
Our next stop is beautiful Chicago, which is the third largest US city. Its skyline contains one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Sears Tower. The shore of Lake Michigan offers beautiful scenery, with open parks and beaches. During our two-day stay, you can sample great theatre, music and dance.

Days 9-12
We will spend three days in the wonderful desert resort of Las Vegas, visiting the city's most famous attraction, 'The Strip' — a collection of luxury hotels and casinos for fantastic entertainment.
Days 12-15
The last stop on our tour is one of the country's most cosmopolitan cities. San Francisco is full of amazing sights, from San Francisco Bay, one of the world's finest natural harbours, to the Twin Peaks of Mt Davidson and Mt Sutro, the largest of the city's hills. You will also eat out in colourful Chinatown, the largest Chinese community outside Asia.

Washington
Washington, D.C. (District of Columbia) is the capital of the United States. It became the capital on December I, 1880. It was named after George Washington, the first president, and Christopher Columbus (America was discovered by Columbus in 1492).
Spring is the best season in Washington, and it is the most popular with tourists. In the spring you can see the flowers on hundreds of cherry trees. The trees were given to the United States in 1912. They were a gift of friendship from Japan.
Washington has something for everyone — historic monuments, interesting museums, beautiful parks, and excellent hotels and restaurants. Some of the most important and most interesting sights are:
The Jefferson Memorial. This monument is dedicated to the third president, Thomas Jefferson. It was designed by John Russel, and it was dedicated in 1943. Inside there is a statue of Jefferson by sculptor Ru-dolf Evans.
The Lincoln Memorial. This beautiful monument is dedicated to Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States. It is made of marble, and it was built in 1922. In the great hall there is a huge statue by Daniel Chester French.
The National Gallery of Art. The National Gallery contains one of the world's best collections of European and American painting and sculpture. The newest building, the East Building, is made of pink marble and glass. It was designed by I.M. Pei, and it was opened in 1978.

The Washington Monument. The Washington Monument was completed in 1884. It is dedicated to the first president, George Washington, and it is 555 feet high. You can take an elevator to the top or you can climb the 898 steps!
The White House. The White House is the official home of the president. It was designed by James Hoban. The first building was burned by the British in the War of 1812, but it was rebuilt in 1818. It was also first painted white at that time.
