5.5 Engineering calculations on noise protection
In this room there is no experiencing equipment, the test facility and the connecting wires between them, there is no need to install protective shields, ropes or fences with warning signs.
The laboratory is located on the third floor, just past the entryway. The building, in which is situated this room, built with the CNR RK (Construction Norms and Regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (СНиП РК)), that is in compliance with all legal, regulatory and technical regulations in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction, operating in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The noise level in the room meets sanitary norms.[7]
Industrial lighting
There are no windows in the laboratory, there is only artificial lighting – 4 lamps, each with 4 bulbs (in total 16 bulbs). Lighting of working places meets the requirements of the building regulations. The illumination on the table of computer user, in an area of the document corresponds to 300-500 lux.
There is properly selected types of lighting and layout of workplaces in relation to sources of artificial light, according to the norms of limited reflections on working surfaces (screen, desk, keyboard, etc.). Local lighting does not create glare on the surface of the monitor screen.
The following is an engineering calculation of the total area of artificial lighting. Working room area is m2. Room height m. Necessary to calculate the artificial lighting of the room.
Solution. For the room applicable lighting such as “Universal” with a matte shade.
The illuminated surface is located at height m. Assume m, and the distance between luminaries m.
By the formula let’s find the number of lamps
To determine the lamp light output let’s choose the numerical value from the tables.
For areas with an average dust emission (Table “Values of the safety factor ” [5]) for incandescent type of lamp safety factor equals to .
Minimum rate of light we choose from table “Illumination norms of working surfaces in the premises” [5] for jobs that require discriminating items from more than 1 to 10 mm: lx.
The coefficient of uneven illumination Z is found by the Table “The value of coefficient Z of illumination unevenness” [5]. For this we define the height of the suspension lamp Нс formula based on the fact that the lights are suspended from 0.05 m from the ceiling:
Next, we calculate the ratio of
From Table “The value of coefficient Z of illumination unevenness” [5] for fixtures such as “Universal” with matt dimmer let’s choose (by interpolation).
The coefficient of luminous flux let’s find in Table “Coefficient of luminous flux ” [25] by counting room rate as follows:
With a minimum reflectance of the light flux from the walls (applied the method of interpolation).
Substitute the values in the formula
From the calculated light flux let’s choose the lamp and its power from the Table “Incandescent general-purpose normal light output” [5].
Conclusion. For the voltage of 220 V is suitable HB 220-25 lamp with power of 25 W and with a luminous flux of 205 lm.
In the laboratory is natural ventilation, exhaust is 12-15m2. The microclimate, the level of ionization of the air in the room complies with sanitary norms. There provided the optimal parameters of the microclimate.
In this room, equipped with computers, in the area of high-frequency equipments at least 1 time per year must be measured the intensity of the radiation. Measurements should be performed at the maximum power used radiation and inclusion of all concurrent radio-frequency sources.
If at the next measurement is detected exceeding the maximum allowable values of energy flux density, the staff, producing measurements reports that to the leadership that is required to take steps to getting back to normal intensity. Places where there is excess of the maximum allowable values of energy flux density must be marked with warning banners.
In this room of EMF in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz does not exceed the limit values according to current health standards and regulations.[8]
