Exercise 1.

Complete using the Future Perfect Simple or the Future Perfect Continuous of the verbs in brackets.

By the time we get to Liverpool this evening, we ____ (drive) more than four hundred miles. We are going to be exhausted.

In a few minutes, I ____ (wait) here for Eric for over two hours. Where can he be?

When Molly goes on vacation next month, she ____ (study) German for over two years. She should be able to communicate fairly well while she is in Austria.

There are three mistakes in each dialogue. Find and correct them.

Exercise 3.

Work in pairs. Discuss with your friend your targets and predictions for the future. What will you have achieved/ What will you have been doing by the year of 2020, 2025, 2030?
