R.: Martin, you are absolutely right. I agree with you completely. I realize that 1 should see the inter viewer; but what about ray job at the gas station?
M.: Oh, come on. Don't tell them where you are going. Just tell your supervisor you have some personal business to attend to. Promise him to make up the time.
R. : That makes sense, Martin, But I'm a bit afraid because of my poor English.
M.: Oh, please Ray, stop worrying about it. All you have to do is to explain your previous experience. You can do it perfectly well. You've to show your experience but not English stylistic subtleties. Even a few grammatical errors won't harm you. I'm sure you'll feel at ease with the interviewer.
R. : I hope so. But I'm still confused about the use of English tenses. Nevertheless I've made up my mind. I'm going to see the interviewer.

L.: Two years. Before that I was with the Disney Company for a year in Florida, and before that I worked at a commercial stationery company in Dallas for six months»
D.: Have you ever sold computer software?
L.: No, but selling is selling. It's all the same to me.
D.: And do you speak any Asian languages?
L.: No, but I learn fast. I majored in languages.
D.: Well, I guess you are a proper candidate for this position.
