Fuel oil

Any fuel delivered to and intended for combustion purposes for

propulsion or operation on board a ship

Garbage

Food wastes, domestic wastes and operational wastes, all plastics,

cargo residues, incinerator ashes, cooking oil, fishing gear, and

animal carcasses generated during the normal operation of a ship

Harmful substances

Substances which are identified as marine pollutants in the Inter-

national Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code)
