By the end of such period original documents shall be provided to the other Party via a courier service. The term of the documents may not be extended by a notice sent by fax.
15.3. The Contract is drafted in Russian and in English in two counterparts of equal legal force. Correspondence concerning the Contract shall be conducted in English. If there are any conflicts or discrepancies in the meaning of terms, the wording of the Contract in Russian shall prevail.

IV. There are many different kinds of contract for different situations. Look at the following paragraphs, and decide what kind of contract is being described or talked about.
1) I went into the supermarket and chose the items that I wanted. As soon as my basket was full, I headed for the checkout.

2) My cousin Bob said he was going to get rid of his computer and buy a new one. I said that I needed a computer and suggested I bought his old one. Anyway, we agreed on a price, I gave him a £50 deposit, and agreed to pay the balance in instalments over the next three months. I’m going round to collect the computer this evening.

3) The property is unfurnished, and the rent is £650 pcm, which has to be paid monthly in arrears. Electricity, gas and phone bills are extra. There’s a communal garden and a communal parking area, for which I also have to pay a nominal maintenance fee. The landlord is responsible for any repairs to the property. I’m not allowed to sublet at any time. I’ve signed the lease for 18 months.

4) We’re opening our own branch in the town centre next week. The deal is fairly simple: we get the right to use the company’s name, their trademark, their trade names and products, wear their uniforms and use their stationery. Понятие и сущность договора в полном объеме регламентируются гражданским законодательством, которым проводится четкая грань между сделками и договорами. Общеизвестно, что каждый договор есть сделка, но не каждая сделка является договором.
Договор – это соглашение двух или нескольких лиц, направленное на установление, изменение или прекращение гражданских правоотношений. Он возникает всегда в результате выражения воли двумя или несколькими лицами. Волеизъявление указанных лиц должно быть взаимно согласованным. Договором является не любое соглашение лиц, а только такое, которое имеет целью вызвать юридические последствия, а именно, возникновение, регулирование, изменение или прекращение гражданских прав и обязанностей. Классификация договоров проводится по различным признакам, которые, как правило, закреплены
взаконе.
Взависимости от характера распределения прав и обязанностей между сторонами договоры делятся на односторонние и двусторонние или взаимные. Это различие совпадает с делением обязательств.
Не следует смешивать классификацию договоров с аналогичной классификацией сделок. Сделки подразделяются на односторонние и двусторонние в зависимости от числа волеизъявлений, необходимых для ее возникновения, а договоры – по характеру распределения прав и обязанностей. Любой договор – двусторон-
няя сделка, поскольку для ее возникновения требуется согласо-

ванное волеизъявление двух или нескольких лиц. Односторонний же договор отличается от односторонней сделки тем, что для ее возникновения достаточно волеизъявления одной стороны, одного лица, а для одностороннего договора необходимо согласование воли не менее чем двумя лицами.
Односторонний договор исполняется только должником, т. е. одной стороной.
