растущая зависимость психиатрической теории и практики от интересов фармацевтических кампаний и сведение многих терапевтических решений к психофармакологическим методам.
Поводя итоги, необходимо отметить следующее. Вопрос о психическом здоровье находится в центре внимания международного сообщества и считается одним из приоритетов в деятельности Всемирной Организации Здравоохранения. Он также является предметом заботы правительств многих стран и национальных служб охраны психического здоровья, ядром которых выступают профессиональные организации психиатров. Начиная с 1950 г. организация психиатрической помощи претерпела серьезные изменения, а сама помощь стала распространяться в глобальном масштабе. Сознавая, что такая работа нуждается в разработке культурно-чувствительных форм психиатрии, некоторые психиатры и антропологи попытались реорганизовать как теоретические, так и практические основы прежней психиатрии. Включение в эту работу медицинских антропологов вскрыло много новых проблем в этой сфере, которые во многом получили свое решение в последнее время. Усиливающиеся процессы глобализации и необходимость культурной адаптации мигрантов дали новый импульс для взаимодействия психиатрии и антропологии, стимулируя дальнейшее развитие кросс-культурной психиатрии и психиатрически-ориентированной медицинской антропологии.
