2.2 Сфера-источник «живая природа»

Было проанализировано 42 статьи англоязычных модных изданий «Vogue», «Elle» и «Harper’s Bazar». В 15 из них встретились 36 метафор со сферой-источником «живая природа».

В сфере-источнике «природа» метафоризации наиболее часто подвергались цвета и оттенки одежды. Растения и цветы в fashion-статьях использовались в качестве объяснения оттенка какого-то элемента гардероба. Также авторы модного глянца сравнивают элементы внешнего облика некоторых животных с цветовой гаммой модных коллекций. Сравнению чаще всего подвергаются цвет шерсти, оттенок кожи и характерный окрас животного. Ср.:

Современные дизайнеры черпают вдохновение из мира флоры и фауны, и, следовательно, авторы модных статей вынуждены следовать за ними. Как и в предыдущем параграфе, наиболее частотна сфера-мишень «цвет и цветовая гамма одежды». Явления природы, смена времен года и даже космические объекты тоже находят отражение в fashion- и beauty- статьях. Реже можно заметить метафоры, связанные с формой, размером, одежды и причесок, но тем не менее, они достаточно популярны, устойчивы и широки в использовании.
