Laboratory work № 9. Organization workbooks. List processing.
Objective: Learn skills for organizing workbooks; learn how to copy or move sheets in a workbook; add notes in the cell; the retrieval of data by using an AutoFilter.
JOB 1.
1. A new workbook assigns Sheet1 Fax and enters the name of the table data from Table 32
2. Values in columns Price and Amount now using formulas Price=Amount * 1.3 Amount = Quantity * Price.
3. Apply to the cells in the column with the monetary format ###0"th.tg." Use the Copy Format copy format column C in columns D, F
4. Save the workbook in your folder named Orgtehnika_faksy.
5. Now create a new book and assign the name of the first sheet Copier. Enter the data tables and formulas:

7. Save the workbook in your folder named Orgtehnika_kseroksy.
Manage Workbooks
8. Copy file Orgtehnika_faksy Faxes list in a file named Orgtehnika_kseroksy (Correction–Move/ Copy sheet)
9. Copier Copy sheet within the workbook, while it is automatically named Copier (2).
10. Rename sheet Copy (2) Full name for the new range.
11. In cell A2, type information about the product.
Documenting workbooks 12. Add notes to headings and Price Amount per sheet Full range. 13. Copy the notes to the respective cells on other sheets (Edit –Copy Edit –Paste Special – notes). 14. Contribute file description and keywords: • Choose File, Properties • In the Name field, enter the company WEST assortment of office equipment • In the Subject field, type Fax, Copier • In the Author box, type your name; • In the Keywords box, type Range • In the Notes field, type include plans for the period from March to August • Make sure that the check box in the Create Graphic preview, and click OK; • On the toolbar, click the Save button .
JOB 2.
Sort and list processing
1. Orgtehnika_kseroksy Open the file, and then save it under a new name Full range
2. Prepare data filtering:
a) Full range on a sheet in the table, add a new column to the left under the heading Product
b) Combine two tables Copier and Fax, copying the contents of the table on sheet Faxes
c) Fill in the relevant column of product names like office equipment.
3. Scroll to the office only to products whose title includes the word «Personal»: select cell C9 and select Data - Filter - AutoFilter; click the AutoFilter arrow in cell C4. Title is the title; as a key filter fields in the list, select the word Personal. 4. Make a list of personal copiers.
5. Restore list.
6. Make a list of the five most profitable products. Restore the full list.
7. Copier Make a list with the names and fax «Professional» and «Professional Plus»: • Click on the arrow AutoFilter field name (cell C4). In the list, select the key condition. Dialog box Custom AutoFilter;
• Make sure that the group name in the top field operator is '=' sign; click the arrow on the neighboring field and select the line Professional;
• enable the OR; click the arrow on the bottom of the field operators and select the '=' sign; click the arrow on the bottom margin of the criteria and select the line Professional Plus;
• Click on the OK button.
8. Cancel AutoFilter.
