Human development is about economic growth, which is the only means of enlarging people’s choices, thus expanding the choices people have to lead lives that they value.

Social structure is referred to as patterned social arrangements in society that are both emergent from and determinant of the actions of individuals.

Social stratification is a concept involving the "classification of people into groups based on shared socio-economic conditions.

There is no common view on the development of the social structure.

Macrostructure is a pattern of relations between individuals in a group composed of individuals.

Microstructure is a pattern of relations between objects that have their own structure.

'Social structure' is a more abstract and broader term than that of ‘social system’.

If society is not just a mere conglomeration … individuals … a particular situation, but a system or systems … human beings acting and interacting … each other … coordination, then the economic structure … society includes both the productive forces and the relations … production. This is obviously the merit … modern theories … social evolution which attempt to present the economic structure … society … the reconstruction … Marx’s historical materialism, its evolution and crisis mechanism.
