Receptionist: How long are you planning to stay, sir?

G: I guess we’ll stay for three or four days.

R: I can give you an outside room on the seventh floor.

G: Is it very noisy?

R: By no means. The street is very quiet. In front of the hotel you can see a big park.

G: How much is the room?

R: 70 dollars per night. The charge includes breakfast.

G: All right. I’ll take it. And what services does your hotel offer?

R: Well, we have a garage, a restaurant, two bars, a sauna, a swimming pool, a gym and a souvenir shop.

G: Thank you very much. Good bye.

R: Good bye.

R: The Rose Hotel. May I help you?

G: Hello! I'd like to reserve a single room with a sea view for six days.

R: What’s your name?

G: My name is Anton Ross, with double S.

R: Would you like a smoking or non-smoking room, Mr. Ross?

G: Non-smoking, please.

R: Yes, we'll have a non-smoking single room available on May 6^th.

G: What is the rate for a single room?

R: It's seventy dollars per night plus tax.

G: Great. Please reserve a single room for me.

R: All right. We'll have the room for you on May 6^th.

G: Thank you very much.

G: I’m leaving tomorrow. Please, prepare my bill.

R: Sure, sir. The bill will be ready tonight. Shall I send it to your room?

G: Yes, please.

G: Hello, I'd like to check out. My name is Anton Ross. Room 735.

R: Did you enjoy your stay with us?

G: Yes, very much so. However, I now need to get to the airport. I have a flight that leaves in about two hours, so what is the quickest way to get there?

R: We do have a free airport shuttle service.

G: That sounds great, but will it get me to the airport on time?

R: Yes, it should. The next shuttle leaves in 15 minutes, and it takes approximately 25 minutes to get to the airport.

G: Fantastic. I'll just wait in the lounge area. Will you please let me know when it will be leaving?

R: Of course, sir. Oh, before you go would you be able to settle the mini-bar bill?

G: Oh, yes, certainly. How much will that be?

R: Let's see. The bill comes to $37.50. How would you like to pay for that?

G: I'll pay with my Visa thanks, but I'll need a receipt so I can charge it to my company.

R: Absolutely. Here we are sir. If you like you can leave your bags with the porter and he can load them onto the shuttle for you when it arrives.

G: That would be great, thank you.

R: Would you like to sign the hotel guestbook too while you wait?

G: Sure, I had a really good stay here and I'll tell other people to come here.

R: That's good to hear. Thank you again for staying at The Rose Hotel.

R: Skylight Hotel Reservations.

G: I want to reserve a room, please.

R: Certainly madam, when would you like to stay?

G: Next Thursday night, that's the 15th.

R: And what type of room would you like? Single or double?

G: Um, there were two of us going, but now it's only me, so . . . just a single room, please.

R: If you'd give me just a moment, please… Yes, we do have a single room available on the 15th. The room rate is ninety dollars.

G: Oh, that's a bit more than I expected to pay.

R: Well, you can try calling other hotels, but you'll find this is pretty standard.

G: Uh, okay. I don't have the time to call around and I know you're probably right.

R: Great. Let me go ahead then and reserve a room for you. Can you tell me your name, please?

G: It's Mrs. Horner, Peggy Horner. That's with two Gs.
