Tower crane with programmed control

The MBTK-80 Self-Propelled, Pull-Swing Tower Crane with a multi-motor electric drive is designed for mechanization of hoisting and transportation jobs at construction of large panel and large-block domestic buildings of up to 8 storey in height.

The crane consists of the following main parts: jib, column, turntable and undercarriage.

The latticed triangular jib is made of tubular elements and is hinged to the tower.

The crane tubular tower is hinged to the turntable and is held in the working position with the help of a brace.

The turntable accommodates the load and jib winches, slewing mechanism, electrical control equipment and the ballast.

The turntable is connected with the undercarriage through a double-row, ball slewing ring.

By means of hinged and pivoted brackets the crane undercarriage is connected with four running bogies two of which are driving. The hinged attachment of the brackets allows the crane to travel on the runway curves with a minimum radius of 6m.

The crane is equipped with a mounted cab which can be fixed in two positions.

The crane is provided with overload, load lifting, slewing and travel automatic cut-outs.

Erection and dismounting of the crane is carried out with the help of a 5-t truck-mounted crane.

All mechanisms of the crane are controlled from the cab.

Besides, the crane is equipped with a system of programmed radio control which permits the automatic delivery of structural elements from the storehouse to the erected building.

The signal sent by the operator from the portable transmitter is received by the crane radio receiving device which ensures the execution of the given command by the crane.

The crane is transported without disassembly into separate units on a wheeled carriage towed by a truck tractor.
