1) You are the Hotel Manager. A Conference Coordinator is coming to you to choose a place for holding a conference in your hotel. Recommend him several options and choose the most suitable.

2) You work at the Hollway House Hotel in London. You have received a letter from the potential client asking information about your conference package. Answer the letter describing your conference facilities. In paragraph 1 thank the customer for interest in your hotel, in paragraph 2 describe your Conference Centre, in paragraph 3 describe the equipment and the support services, in paragraph 4 write about prices. Invent any necessary information.

1) You work at a car rental office. A guest is calling you to hire a car. Conduct a hiring procedure.

2) You work at a car rental office Miami Autos Direct. Read the following instructions and write an e-mail-confirmation about car hire.

Thank Mr. Brown for the Renault 5 hire for 14th March for a week and say that’ll be fine. The cost is $86,90 pounds for a week including tax and insurance, which is third-party liability, damage to the vehicle, and personal accident insurance. 2) You are a customs inspector. Write a memo to passengers explaining the customs inspection procedure at the airport.

1) You are a tour operator. You are going to interview a hotel manager to see if the hotel meets your company’s requirements. Decide exactly what requirements your company has before you start the interview. Invent any necessary information.

2) You are the Managing Director of the Hotel Sebastopol in France. You have decided that your countryside hotel can attract American tourists. You have seen the brochure of an American company and feel your hotel would be an ideal for inclusion. Write a letter to tour operator explaining in detail the attractions of your area, saying what your hotel has to offer (fishing, hiking, outdoor sports activities), and suggesting a time of the year when tourists might like to visit your hotel (summer). Don’t forget to describe shortly your hotel and suggest sending the brochure.

1) You are the hotel manager. Tour operator is going to interview you to see if your hotel meets his company’s requirements. Decide exactly what facilities you have to offer in your hotel. See if they meet the tour operator’s requirements. Invent any necessary information.
