Fist Conditional

Ex.1. Прочитайте та запам’ятайте наступні правила:

Підрядні речення умови в складнопідрядних реченнях бувають трьох типів. Перший тип умовного речення виражає здійснювану умову, яка відноситься до теперішнього, минулого чи майбутнього часу.

If+ім. +V(present simple\continuous\perfect) …, ім. V(future simple)…

If you come at ten, I will be ready to start.

Якщо ти прийдеш о десятій, я буду готовий вирушати.

If the weather is fine, we will go for a walk.

Якщо погода буде гарною, ми підемо на прогулянку.

If the weather is fine, we will go to the forest.

Якщо погода буде хорошою, ми поїдемо до лісу.

Ex.2. Прочитайте та перекладіть речення:

1. If the children come in time, we will see a film.

2. If I go to the shop, I will buy bread.

3. If you are at school, I will give this book to you.

4. If it’s cold, I will put the fur coat on.

5. If he brings this book we will read if.

6. If my sister does not go to the south, we will spend the summer in St. Petersburg together.

7. If I don’t manage to finish my report today, I will stay at home tomorrow.

Ex.3. Складіть якомога більше речень, використовуючи Fist Conditional:

Ex.1. Прочитайте та запам’ятайте наступні правила:

Умовні речення другого типу виражають неможливі або малоймовірні припущення , які відносяться до теперішнього та майбутнього часу.

If + іменник + дієслово в Past Simple, … Would + дієслово в інфінітиві

If he were not ill for two month, he would take his exam together with his friends. – Якби він не був хворим протягом двох місяців, він би складав іспит разом зі своїми друзями.

If you came at ten, I would be ready to start. – Якби ти прийшов о десятій, я б був готовий вирушати.

If the weather was fine, we would go for a walk. – Якби погода була гарною, ми б пішли на прогулянку.

If my brother had time now, he would help us. – Якби у мого брата зараз був час, він би допоміг нам.

Ex. 2. Складіть свої п’ять умовних речень другого типу:

Ex. 4. Перекладіть англійською мовою, використовуючи Second Conditional:

THIRD CONDITIONAL

ІІІ УМОВНИЙ СПОСІБ ДІЄСЛОВА

Ex.1. Прочитайте та запам’ятайте наступні правила:

Умовні речення третього типу виражають припущення , яке відноситься до минулого часу та при цьому є нездійсненним.

If + іменник + дієслово в Past Perfect, … Would + Have + дієслово в Participle II

Could

Might

If we had known that were there, we would have written a letter to you. – Якби ми знали, що ти був там, ми б написали тобі листа.

If you had come at ten, I would have been ready to start. – Якби ти прийшов о десятій, я б був готовий вирушати.

If the weather had been fine, we would have gone for a walk. – Якби погода була гарною, ми б пішли на прогулянку.

If I had been free yesterday, I should have rung you up. – Якщо б я був вільний учора, я б подзвонив тобі.

If he had the book them, he would have given it to you. – Якщо б у нього тоді була ця книга, він би дав її тобі.

Ex. 2. Складіть якомога більше речень, з кожною табличкою використовуючи Third Conditional, та перекладіть їх:

UNIT 30. Inquiry. Offer.

Лист – запит, лист – пропозиція

Ex.1. Прочитайте та запам’ятайте наступні правила:

Лист-запит ((inquiry a6o enquiry) компанія надсилає, коли хоче:

• отримати докладну інформацію про товари (goods);

• дізнатися, чи є вони в наявності (availability of goods);

— уточнити час і строки поставки (delivery dates);

- отримати інформацію про умови поставки та знижки (terms and discounts), спосіб транспортування (method of trans­portation), страхування (insurance);

- отримати інформацію про ціни на товари (prices of goods);

— отримати каталоги (catalogues) і зразки товарів (samples of goods), І Т.П.

При написанні листа-запиту слід якомога докладніше викласти суть питання (to give full details), що дозволить Ва­шому діловому партнеру скоротити час на складання від­повіді.

У випадку, якщо Ви звертаєтесь із запитом у дану ком­панію вперше, у лист бажано включити такі пункти:

1. Вказівка на джерело інформації про дану компанію та її товар.

1. Суть питання.

2. Короткі відомості про Вашу компанію.

3. Вираження надії на співробітництво.

Не обов'язково дотримуватися даної послідовності. При повторному запиті у лист включається лише другий пункт. Як і більшість інших ділових листів, лист-запит, як правило, дру­кується на фірмовому бланку, на якому вказані назва компанії-відправника запиту, її поштова адреса, номера телефонів та факсу.

Кліше та вирази листів-запитів:

- We are interested in buying (importing, etc.) ... — Ми хотіли б купити (імпортувати і т.п.) ...

— Please inform us (let us know) as soon as possible ... -Просимо повідомити нам якнайшвидше...

• We would like to represent your products in the Ukrainian mar­ket. — Ми хотіли би представляти вашу продукцію на україн­ському ринку.

- Please send us samples of... (your catalogues, leaflets, etc.) - Будь-ласка, надішліть нам зразки ... (свої каталоги, брошури і т.п.)

- As distributors we have a large network of .. - Як дистриб’ютори ми маємо велику мережу ...

— In connection with this ... — У зв'язку з цим ...

- We are distributors (importers, retailers, etc.) of ... - Ми є дистриб’юторами (імпортерами, продавцями і т.п.) ...

— We would like to get in touch with manufacturers (suppliers, sell­ers, etc.) of ... — Ми би хотіли встановити контакт з виробника­ ми (постачальниками, продавцями і т.п.) ...

- There is a large market here for your products. — Ваша про­дукція знайде у нас свого покупця.

• For over ... years our company has imported from western coun­tries ... - - Більше, ніж ... років наша компанія імпортує із західних країн ...

• Our company was founded in ... — Наша компанія була засно­вана у ... році.

• We usually effect payment by letter of credit (cheque, bank trans­fer, etc.). — Зазвичай ми проводимо оплату шляхом відкриття акредитиву (чеком, переказом і т.п.)
