2. Read the text and translate it. Pay attention to the underlined words.

Alex Morton is a talented person who has led a very interesting life. Alex is a handsome man, with an aristocratic face, soft brown hair and is getting bald. He has also a big nose, thin lips and a pointed chin. He wears glasses. His face is always clean shaven.

He met Fiona Jones and they got married in 1995. She was a very graceful and pretty girl, delicately built, with long blonde hair and a square face. She was rather tall and slim. She had very expressive big, blue eyes, a straight nose and scarlet lips. She is not young now but looks much younger for her age.

They have two daughters, and a son. Daughters are very smart and attractive. They both have long fair hair, but Mary’s hair is longer and fairer than Jane’s.

The youngest and the smallest in the family is Tom. He is the baby of the family, he is only five. He is a sweet little darling, too serious for his age, sometimes very naughty. Tom has taken after his mother, they are as like as two peas, and girls are the picture of their father.

Alex Morton is a devoted husband and father. He is generous, polite and very patient. His wife is sensitive and honest, sometimes she is strict to her children, but they say, that she is kind and caring.

Alex Morton has a very friendly family and it helps him to create his best sellers.
