Дані методичні вказівки з англійської мови призначені для всебічної підготовки студентів з базовим рівнем володіння мовою. Вони орієнтовані на студентів першого курсу всіх спеціальностей. Вказівки є корисними для тих, хто хоче вдосконалити свої знання та навички спілкування із заданих тем.

Перша частина методичних вказівок складається з подібних за структурою тем «Особистість» та «Спосіб життя», відповідей до вправ і тематичного словника.

Головною метою збірки є розвиток комунікативних навичок студентів. Також наведено цілий ряд вправ, спрямованих на поступовий розвиток і закріплення навичок читання та письма, що забезпечує комплексний та всебічний розвиток умінь тих, хто вивчає англійську мову.
