Претензии. Рассмотрение и урегулирование. Фразы, используемые в письмах-претензиях.

Лексика: On examining the consignment we found that…; we discovered that case No. … was short of … as compared to the quantity specified in the delivery documents; … have no proper packing, are damaged, scratched, rusty; the control straps are missing and the seals are damaged; we should be very much obliged if you would rectify this error; unless this order arrives here by … we shall have to cancel delivery; etc.

Тема 8. Banking. Accounting of a company.

Банковское дело. Бухгалтерский учет на предприятии. Банки-корреспонденты. Открытие и ведение счетов. Перечисление денег. Банковские ставки.

Лексика: we should like to open a current a/c in your bank; … to apply for a loan from our bank;… will be pleased to grant you the loan on the following terms; we shall be grateful to receive your confirmation that you will be making payment of…; in accordance with the repayment schedule please remit to us…; etc.

Тема 9. Currency and share markets.

Валютные и фондовые рынки. Фьючерсный рынок. Акции. Брокерская комиссия. «Быки» и «Медведи».

Лексика: spot market; futures market; forward exchange contracts; shares; stocks; equity capital; blue chips; broking commission; privileged shares; ordinary shares; voting rights; controlling shareholder; etc.

Тема 10. Financial documents. Insurance.

Финансовые документы. Страховка. Переводной вексель (тратта). Аккредитивы. Счет, счет-фактура. Трассант.

Лексика: I have today drawn on you for USD payable to our order; payable at sight; payable on demand; please honour the draft at maturity (in due course); please return it to our address when accepted; should acceptance be refused, please protest same; etc.

Тема 11. Transport documents. Bills of lading.

Транспортные документы. Коносаменты. Накладные.

Лексика: the originals and the non-negotiable copies of the B/L should be sent by ship's mail; the B/L should be clean, endorsed by the shippers; please note that on receipt of goods we have discovered the following differences against the B/L’s; instead of the clean B/L we have received the foul B/L; since the validity of the L/C ceased, please antedate the B/L’s; etc.
