Ryazan Radio Engineering University was created in 1951. The university ranks high among the leading educational establishments of Russia in the level of training engineers, the number of graduates, the volume of research. The university is located not far from Moscow in ancient Ryazan, one of the most beautiful places in central Russia Called Meshchera.

In 60 years the university has turned into one of the largest academic and research centers. It has 5 faculties offering full-time training: (radio engineering, electronics, automation) and one department offering part-time and extra-mural put time extra-mural training.

The university offers up-to-date academic and research facilities. It has 100 academic laboratories, computing centres, library, containing more than 700000 volumes.
