Simulation
If Your Saved File Solid2.apw is Not Displayed
To Access the
Examples Folder
Opening an Existing Run
1In the Aspen Plus Startup dialog box, select the radio button next to the Open an Existing Simulation field.
2In the list, select Solid2.apw and click OK.
1Double-click More Files in the list box. The Open dialog box appears.
2Navigate to the directory that contains your saved file Solid2.apw.
3Select Solid2.apw in the list of files and click Open. The Aspen Plus window appears.
Note: If you did not create the simulation in Chapter 3, open the backup file Solid2.bkp in the Examples folder.
1Double-click More Files in the list box. The Open dialog box appears.
2Click .
By default, the Favorites list contains five folders that are provided with Aspen Plus.
3Double-click the Examples folder.
4Select Solid2.bkp and click OK.
Note: If the Connect to Engine dialog box appears, see Chapter 6.
The process flowsheet from Chapter 3 appears:
