The company organization
“Rieker” has a complex internal structure. Each department is in charge of different functions. The Managing Director is responsible to the Board of Directors. Four executives assist the Managing Director: General Administrator, Financial Director, Marketing Director and Production Director. There are four main departments in the company: Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Production. There are also small departments as: Personnel, Training, Advertising, Sales and others. Production department carries out the production of footwear. Finance department looks after finance and accounting. The chief accountant reports to the Financial Director. Marketing department organizes market research. Sales department is responsible for bringing goods to the potential customers. Advertising department deals with promotional events. Personnel department is in charge of hiring and firing and reports to the General Administrator who provides office services. Training department organizes training courses.
