The Discipline: «Production Engineering. Lean manufacturing technology»

1. Brief description of the discipline

Discipline «Production Engineering. Lean manufacturing technology» creates an understanding of modern methods and tools for the organization and management of enterprises in terms of LEAN-technology. As one of the most powerful and effective tools to address the challenges facing the real sector of the economy, lean manufacturing can reduce costs, streamline business processes, increase productivity, improve the competitiveness of products, improve working conditions and, as a result, to obtain an increase in profits.

2. The objectives of the development of the discipline

The purpose of discipline is to develop in the student a holistic view of methods, technologies, mechanisms and tools of lean manufacturing, the study of international experience in applying LEANtechnology.

The competence of the student, formed as a result of the development of the discipline.
