The development of a man and his role in creation of the means of production. The emergence of the meaning of human factor engineering. Prospects of study. A man’s role in production safety. The necessity of human factor study and the ways of effecting it.

Theme 1.2. Anthropological and psychophysiological characteristics of a person. Their measurements.

Anthropological principal in modern cognition. Anthropological characteristics of a person. The main concepts of psychology of cognition and cognitive psychology (general overview).Sensitivity thresholds. Evaluation methods of sensitivity thresholds. Sensitivity dynamics. Sensorimotor reactions. Reaction time and evaluation of decision making quality.

Main psychophysiological laws. Experimental proof of physical laws and examples of its practical application.

Theme 1.3. Study and evaluation of psychological characteristics of a person.

Main ideas of modern cognitive science (general overview). The structure of cognitive processes. Cognition and consciousness. Functional states and consciousness states. Attention. Memory. Thinking process. Main models of cognitive processes and their experimental proof (general overview). Evaluation methods of cognitive processes characteristics. Cognitive resources. Effectiveness evaluation and planning of cognitive resources application in management systems.

Theme 1.4. Study and evaluation of personal characteristics of a person.

Personality concepts in psychology, sociology, philosophy. Subjective control and volitional regulation. Functional states. Affects and affective reactions. Temperament and character. Personality features. Concept of character accentuations. Personality factor models (general overview).

Theme 1.5. Analyzers of a person. Their role in activity. The basics of psychophysiology of hearing and displaying audio information.

The basics of psychophysiology of smell, taste and other senses, psychophysiological characteristics of corresponding analyzers, main psychophysiological models of these analyzers.

Module 2: Psychology of safety and personal safety

Theme 2.1. Human exposure to accidents. The history of this

issue.

The psychological component of human safety. Personal factors predisposing a person to danger and creation of accidents.

Security components: technological, commercial, personal and environmental safety, labor protection, etc. Safety indicators and security assessment technologies. Overview of the main regulations governing the common technological safety and health.

Functions of HR services and safety inspections.

Control of technological safety. Special, responsible, dangerous, hazardous working conditions. A review of regulatory documents defining the rules of access, operation, work and rest hours, etc. for staff in the workplace with heavy, harmful, dangerous and highly responsible working conditions.

Theme 2.2. Risk factor

Modern approaches, concepts, models. The main types of accidents and emergencies. Evaluating the effectiveness of emergency management and emergency situations. The concept of the mechanisms of psychological trauma, immediate and long-term consequences of stressful situations. Affective and frustration state, affective reactions.

Theme 2.3. Professional psychological adaptation

Functional characteristics and functional states (general overview). General principles for design of systems of psychological, medical and psychological monitoring.

Subjective novelty and related psychological effects. The problem of introduction of new employees. The problem of professional growth. The speed of personal, administrative and professional career growth. Moral aging of technologies and the problem of retraining the staff. Social and professional maladjustment. Identification of maladjustment. Assessment of

Theme 2.4. The effects of stress and fatigue problems

Non-industrial infrastructure and efficiency of the stuff. Nonindustrial infrastructure design (general overview ).

Module 3: Basic theory of human resource management in the region (10 hours)

Theme 3.1. The nature, content, conditions and region concept

factors.

Approaches to the definition of the concept «region»: territorial, economic, socio-economic, administrative. The region as a socio-economic system. Signs of the region, classification of regions. The functions of the region. Development of the region, factors of economic growth in the region. Principles and methods of regional economics and human resource management. The meaning and functions of the regional human resource management.

Theme 3.2. The modern world labor market trends, regulatory

system

Changes in the level of employment and unemployment in the world. International division of labor. Geographical and sectoral structure of employment and unemployment. The role of globalization and regionalization in the formation of the world labor market. Dynamics and the number of the workforce. Factors and trends in international migration. Migration processes in Russia.

The role of technologies in shaping of the labor market. Directions and state support for the development of information and communication technologies (Russian and foreign experience).

Theme 3.3. The human resources of the region: the accumulation and use.

Theory of human resources. Human resources as a factor of development and competitiveness of the organization (company) and the region. Features and elements of human resources. Investment in human resources. Stages of reproduction and circulation of human resources. Human

Potential Development Index as an indicator of human resource development.

Theme 3.4. Human resources in the region and problems of its

growth

The state of Russian human resources, development issues and the formation of human resources. Human Potential Development Index of Russian regions. Assessment of human resources in the region (methods). Conditions and ways of development of human resources in the region.

Theme 3.5. The relationship between the development of human resources and competitiveness of the region.

Priorities and aspects of employment policy. Assessment of the region's competitiveness in the labor market. Education as a factor in the formation of human resources in the region. Investment in education. Environmental conditions of life as a factor in human development.

6. The content of seminar/practical/lab classes

4.Evaluation of the possibility of using a person in some form of professional activity (student's choice), speech in the form of a report.

2.Can temperature changes due to the place of residence or work rotation schedule affect the performance of human resources. (groups discussion: one group is for, another group is against )

3.How does the knowledge of the characteristics analyzer muscle feeling affect the preparation of the working space.

4.Name the pain threshold on the skin of the abdomen and the fingertips. Give examples of your own sensitivity. And how it can affect the type of professional activity, which you do.

1.Present a report on the content of analyzers and verification

methods.

Module 2: Psychology of safety and personal safety (8 hours)

2.The basic processes of human interaction with the machine.

3.Give examples of research in the field of the human factor in the increased risk in the workplace.

1.Discuss the analytical data (prepared in advance) in cases of accidents at work.

2.Discuss the famous film-plots with cases of human fault in accidents in the workplace.

1.Substantiate that the Republic of Tatarstan is a socio-economic system (task will be executed in the group in accordance with the theoretical foundations).

2.Classify regions of Russia (Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk region, Nizhny Novgorod region, and others.) based on the material at hand.

3.Discussion of the factors of economic growth of the Republic of

Tatarstan:

1.Determine the meaning of decent work, its characteristics (each explains what «decent work» means to them, what they expect of an employer and working conditions etc.)

2.Discuss the priorities of employment policy (which today is relevant in the management of the labor market at the regional level, the main instruments of employment policy).

3.Assess the impact of pension systems, education, environment of Russian regions on its competitiveness, including the labor market.
