Часть 1. Hello, Ann!

Hello! My name is Ann and I’m 17 years old. I’m tall with fair hair and blue eyes. My face is round, and my nose is short and straight. I am 1.68 tall and I weigh about 60 kilos. My favorite color is red, and my favorite sports are tennis and volleyball. I like listening to rock music and going to the cinema. I also love dancing and singing, but I can’t sing very well. I live with my mom and dad, and my brother Tim.

My dad is a writer. He writes travel books for tourists, so he travels a lot to Europe. He is tall and slim with dark hair and brown eyes. He likes playing tennis with Tim and me at the weekend. He is clever and kind, and I love him very much.

My mom is a dentist. She is short and plump, and she wears glasses. Her hair is blond, and her eyes are blue. She loves reading and watching comedies in her free time. My mom is a caring person, she likes helping others.

Tim is 13 years old, and he goes to school. He can’t dance or sing, but he can run very fast. His favorite sport is football and tennis. He also likes playing computer games and roller-skating.

Часть 2. Ann’s House

Ann’s house is quite big. It has got a lot of rooms, some rooms are large, and some are quite small. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs there is a large living-room, a dining-room and a kitchen. There is a big garden behind the house and a small balcony at the front of the house.

Ann has got a small room upstairs. There is a bed, a desk, two chairs, a wardrobe and a bookcase in her bedroom. Ann has got a lot of books because she loves reading. There is also a computer on her desk and some posters on the walls. Ann hasn’t got a TV in her room, but there is a large one in the living-room downstairs.

The living-room is quite spacious. There is a comfortable sofa and two armchairs in front of it, and a beautiful fireplace in the corner of the room. There are also some pictures on the wall above the sofa.

Tim’s room is next to Ann’s. It’s bigger than Ann’s, but it seems smaller: Tim has got a lot of different things in his bedroom. He has got roller skates, a skateboard, two footballs and a tennis racket because he likes sports. Where are his trainers? They are on the floor. Where is his tennis racket? It’s under the bed. Tim hates tidying his room!

Часть 3. Every day

Every day Ann gets up at seven o’clock. She has a shower, cleans her teeth and brushes her hair. After that she has breakfast at 7.30. Then she gets dressed, picks up her books and leaves the house at 8 o’clock. She sometimes goes to university by bike, but on most days she catches the bus. Ann studies Art at university; she wants to become an actress in future. Music and drama are her favorite subjects at university.

When Ann comes home at 4 o’clock, she usually has dinner. After dinner she does her homework. It takes about two hours. In the evening she plays chess with her brother or reads a book. Ann likes reading thrillers and detective stories, and also books about art. She doesn’t often watch TV, but she likes surfing the Internet. She sometimes meets friends, and they go for a walk or to the cinema.

At the weekend the family often have a barbecue in the garden. In the summer Ann and her parents invite friends and have a good time: they cook, play volleyball or badminton, and socialize with their friends.

Ann’s brother Tim goes to school. He likes Math, but he doesn’t like doing his homework. After school he likes playing football with his friends. Tim likes reading comics, and he loves watching adventure films.
