PROCEDURE:
(1) All notices should be sent to the vessel'sagent bye-:mail, telex or facsimile. The agent will advise the terminal immediately bye-mail or facsimile.
(2) The agent should be advised of the vessel'sdata upon departure from the load port. Masters should also include confirmation of pre-arrival checks and any deficiences that would affect safety or hinder cargo unloading of the vessel. This confirmation may be sent separately but no later that the final ETA notice.

(1) All vessels bound for Ecuadorian ports should advise the Port Authority of their destination 72h before their ETA at the pilot station. The message, which should be in Spanish, should be addressed to the following:
(a) Port Captain
(b) Heanh Officer
(c) Customs Administration (name of port)
(d) Immigration Office
(2) The message should include the following information:
(a) Vessel'sname
(b) Nationality
(c) Last port of call
(d) Destination
(e) Any sick crew on board? (~ Any explosives on board?
(g) Number of passengers for port
(h) Number of passengers in transn
(i) Weight of cargo to be unloaded (in tonnes) m Weight of cargo in transij (in tonnes)
