розвивальна: розвивати різні типи пам’яті; розвивати кмітливість, логічне мислення й мовленнєву реакцію; удосконалювати фонетику та артикуляцію звуків;

виховна: виховувати уміння концентруватись, слухати інших.

Хід уроку

Warm up 1. Rhyming words game

Presentation 2. Listen and learn Ex.1, p.40 (before reading revise the words “parents”, “uncle”, “aunt” and “cousine”)

• Books open. Pupils look at the pictures and say what this rhyme is going to be about.

• Read the rhyme, pupils listen.

• Pupils read the rhyme first together, then individually.

3. Ex.2, p.41 (complete the dialogue with is/are) Work with the poster “The Verb to Be”

Practice 4. Ex.3, p.41 (listen and check, act out the dialogue)

Memory Game 5. Ex.3, p.41

• Ask pupils to name the people in the family pointing to the pictures in Ex.1

• Look at the pictures of the family. Read their names.

• Ask: What is the boy’s name? Has he got sisters? Has he got cousins? What is her name?

• Drill the pronunciation of the family words

• Point out the form and meaning of the possessive singular “’s” giving several examples of pupils’ possession in the classroom. Write several examples on the board

• Read the sentences about this family tree using the pattern

Extra Revise family words using the flashcards. Write the words on the board and ask pupils to spell them, draw the pupils’ attention to the word ‘daughter’
