Warm up 1. Associations Game (say the name of any of four seasons. Pupils try to think of and write down within two minutes as many words as they can)

Presentation 2. Listen and learn Ex.1, p.24

• Books closed, read the poem, pupils listen.

• Ask pupils to read the name of the week they can see on the pictures.

• Ask ”How many pupils can they see?

• Read the poem again. Ask pupils what they think these seven names must be. Do choral and individual repetition

• Set up a days-of-the-week chain round the class
