Тема. Повторення. Знову до школи

Мета:

навчальна: презентувати лексичний матеріал за темою «Моя сім’я і друзі», ознайомити з мовними виразами знайомства і вітання та повторити фрази, вивчені минулого року; формувати уявлення про мову як засіб спілкування між людьми; ознайомитися з римівками за темою «Знайомство»;

розвивальна: розвивати навички аудіювання та діалогічного мовлення;

виховна: викликати в дітей бажання вчитися; вивчати іноземну мову; виховувати дисципліну, звичку до систематичної розумової праці.

Хід уроку

Warm up 1.Greeting, introducing yourself ‘Hello! I am Missis…’

2. Pair work: pupils introduce themselves to their neighbours in the same way.

Presentation 3. Listen and read Ex.1, p.6 a) listening b) choral reading c) two pupils act it out at the blackboard

Extra “Happy Game” Say “I’m happy” and give a big smile. Then say “Now look!” and pretend to wipe your smile off your face with your hand and throw it to the children. Demonstrate that the children should pretend to “catch” the smile and put it on their faces. Say “Now you’re…” and get the children to call out “Happy!”. Repaet the procedure several times.

Read and act out

4. Ex.2, p.6 (T: Look at the photos. Say the children’s names. Read and practice the dialogue in pairs.)

5. Ask and complete Ex.3, p.7 (work in pairs and complete the table, than read it chorally and individually)

6. Ask and answer Ex.4, p.7 (pair work, the answers are written on the board)

7. Complete and say about yourself Ex.5, p.7

Ending the lesson

8. A chain game. P1 stands up and says “I’m…” and then points to P2 next to him/her, says “This is…” and then sits down. P2 stands up and says “I’m…” and then points to P3 next to him/her, says “This is…” and then sits down. Continue around the class.

9. Saying ‘Good bye’ several times

Мета: навчальна: практикувати всі види мовленнєвої діяльності; ознайомити учнів з новими лексичними одиницями і навчити їх вживати у власному мовленні на рівні речення; повторити раніше вивчені лексичні одиниці; практикувати учнів у читанні тексту за темою уроку з добуванням детальної інформації;

розвивальна: удосконалювати фонетику та артикуляцію звуків; розвивати усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність; підвищувати рівень особистої мотивації учнів у вивченні англійської мови; розвивати логічне мислення, здатність до здогадки;

виховна: викликати в дітей бажання вчитися; вивчати іноземну мову; виховувати дисципліну, під час парної роботи – повагу до співрозмовника.

Обладнання: тематичні карти за темою “Seasons and Weather”.

Хід уроку

Warm up 1.Greeting, ‘Say ‘Hello! or Good morning!’ to your neighbour’

Revision 2. T-PL : Hello! Good morning! What is your name? Nice to see you! How are you?

3. Stick the pictures of four seasons on the board. Ask pupils to name the seasons. Read the poem

Spring is green. Summer is bright. Autumn is yellow. Winter is white.

Presentation 4. Ex.1, p.10 Listen and repeat the drills.

5. Ask pupils to complete the sentences using new words (e.g. It is cold and rainy in autumn. It is frosty and snowy in winter. It is warm and windy in spring. It is hot and sunny in summer)

Practice 6. Ex.2, p.10 read (before the first listening ask questions: What seasons do you know? Is it hot/cold in winter/summer? What weather do you like?)

After reading ask pupils: what is the weather like in autumn? Is it cold? Is it sunny? Is it windy? What colour are the trees?

Reading 7. Ex.3, p.11 (agree or disagree, pupils read and choose the correct sentences)

Extra game Pantomime using flash cards about the weather (work in groups of 3-4)

8. Work in pairs. Ask and answer Ex.4, p.11

9. Ex.5, p.11 (Pupils name the pictures, then they read and complete and sentences)

Writing Ex. p. (workbook)

Ending the lesson Stick the flashcards “Seasons” on the board, pupils write the names under the pictures. Ask them “What season is it?”

виховна: викликати в дітей бажання вчитися; вивчати іноземну мову; виховувати дисципліну, повагу до однокласників, звичку до систематичної розумової праці.

5. Ex.2, p.12 (ask pupils to make sentences using the table, written on the board)

Extra game “Disappearing items” (write months of the year on the board. Do choral repetition of the words. Then rub out one of the words. Pupils chant the whole sequence

Practice 6. Group work Ex.3, p.12 (look at the pictures. Group1 read their text one by one. Then Group2 do the same.

7. Ask and answer Ex.4, p.12 (Group2 answer the questions to the text of Group1 and vice versa)

Reading 8. Ex.5, p.12 (Write the sentences on the board and complete them with the pictures. Ask pupils to name the pictures. Then they complete the sentences one by one)

2. Mime the weather, using flashcards

Presentation 4. Ex.1, p.14 listen, point and say (1) Boks closed, read the poem, pupils listen. 2) Then they open the books and look at the pictures. 3) Ask the pupils what they think the rhyme is going to be about, ask pupils to name the seasons on the pictures, ask: Where are the children on pictures 1,3 and 6? What are they doing? Is the weather good in picture 5 and 2? 4) choral and individual reading )

розвивальна: удосконалювати фонетику та артикуляцію звуків; розвивати усні комунікативні уміння; розвивати довготривалу й оперативну пам'ять; підвищувати рівень особистої мотивації учнів у вивченні англійської мови; розвивати логічне мислення, здатність до здогадки;

виховна: зацікавити учнів використанням іноземної мови в інших сферах знань.
