During forthcoming Special Survey and Docking for renewal of Lloyds Loadline Certificate to be held in your Dock-yard on or about the December 02.2002.

The following work is to be carried out to meet Owner & surveyors requirements:

1 Welding jobs of the starboard$

2 Welding jobs of the port side.

In addition to aforementioned work there will be needed repairs, both in engine & Deck Departments, which will be confirmed by Lloyds Surveyors and Owners representatives attending the docking and overhaul. The dry-dock hould be booked initially for a period of 10-12 days.

The necessary bottom paints have been placed on board the vessel.

Dear Sir.

Please find enclosed photographs of the damaged fuel cam № 2 main engine. These show the area of damage and the close proximity of the camshaft bearing, which will make removal more difficult. Spare bolt on fuel cam is onboard.

Pictures of the overspeed gear are not as clear, but marks can be seen on the gears. As can be seen access to this gear wheel is limited.
