Vocabulary activator

Describe the play you’ve read or recently seen so that your fellow-students could guess what play it is.

Exercise 13.

Make up a conversation with your friend on one of the topics:

  1. You decided to spend a Saturday evening at a theatre, but you don’t know what to see: a comedy, a drama or a musical play, as each of you prefers different kind of performance.

  2. You are a theatre-goer, but your close friend is not fond of theatre at all and only visit it from time to time. One day our drama theatre presents the play which you have seen many times and want to see again. Try to persuade your friend to see the performance.

  3. You and your friend went to a theatre where you saw… On your way home you meet your fellow-student who asks you to express your opinion about the performance.
