V. Why do you think Great Britain is called one of the most traditional countries in the world?
I would like to say that customs and traditions play an important role in the British way of life. They are part of their cultural and historical heritage. Customs and traditions help to pass knowledge and experience of the nation from generation to generation. Though traditions change a little bit with time, they are well observed (сохраняются) in the country. Thanks to them Great Britain created the image of one of the most traditional countries in the world.

I. Let’s talk about modern means of communication.
Our life is becoming faster and faster and people want to be informed about the world around them. They also want to share the received information. So, modern life is impossible without mass media and modern means of communication.
I think, that in the 21st century the most popular means of communication are mobile phones and the Internet. Mobile phones are portable and we can communicate with others at any time and in any place. They allow us to send text messages, which is the most convenient and cheapest form of communication.
A mobile phone today is not only for communication. It is also a clock, a calculator, a music player, a camera, games, the Internet. As a result, it is a great and important part of our life. Unfortunately, some people spend too much time online, become addicted to this modern device and cut themselves off the real world.
We live in the digital age of nanotechnologies. The personal computer and the Internet help us save time and get better access to information. Besides, people can easily socialize on the Internet using social networks.
II. Are there any means of communication you can’t live without?
To tell the truth, I can’t live without the Internet. I use it for my studies, reading the news, listening to music, watching films, playing online games and chatting with my friends using Skype and Contact. But I try to surf the Internet within reasonable limits (в разумных пределах).
