Preface (Предисловие)
Предлагаемое пособие предназначено для студентов 1 курса заочного отделения факультета международного права и юридической психологии специализации ‘международное право’.
Целями пособия являются формирование у студентов навыков и развитие умений самостоятельного чтения оригинальной литературы и ведения беседы на английском языке в пределах проработанной тематики, а также осуществление контроля знаний лексико-грамматического материала, предусмотренного действующей программой вуза.
Структурно пособие состоит из двух частей и краткого грамматического справочника. представленного в таблицах (GRAMMAR REFERENCE).
Первая часть (CONVERSATIONAL TOPICS) включает восемь разделов (UNITS), в основе которых лежат базовые тематические тексты с системой взаимосвязанных заданий и упражнений по данному разделу, активизирующих различные виды речевой деятельности. Каждый текст имеет познавательный интерес и может служить иллюстрацией к теме и материалом для беседы и закрепления тематической лексики. Тематическое содержание первой части соответствует требованиям базовой программы для неязыковых вузов.
