DO’S & DON’TS

Consult a doctor immediately for:

- persistent weight loss or fatigue

Elevit Pronatal is a medical preparation containing 12 essential vitamins, 4 minerals and 3 trace elements. Elevit Pronatal has been specially designed to ensure a normal pregnancy under optimal micronutrient conditions.

Before conception: Elevit Pronatal refills preconceptional deficit (i.e. after oral contraceptives) and helps to optimize the vitamin status of the mother-to-be. It prepares for pregnancy, increases the probability of healthy conception and ensures optimal fetus nutrition right from the start.

After birth: Elevit Pronatal replenishes depleted micronitrient stores, with particular regard to iron, and covers the increase in requirements with breast-feeding.

Indications for Elevit Pronatal

Prevention and treatment of general vitamin and mineral deficiencies due to increased requirements or reduced intakes during pregnancy and lactation.

Method of administration

One tablet daily to be taken at breakfast. In the case of morning sickness, it is recommended that the tablet is taken at noon or if necessary, in the evening.

Elevit Pronatal should be used at the recommended dosage.

Contra-indications, warnings and precautions

Elevit Pronatal should not be used by patients with:

• hypervitaminosis A and/or D

• impaired renal function

• disorder in calcium or iron utilization

• kidney failure

• allergy to one or more ingredients

Undesirable effects

Elevit Pronatal is well tolerated. In rare cases gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g. constipation) may occur.
