It is authorised to import two hundred cigarettes, either fifty cigars or two hundred fifty grams of tobacco into Holland; one litre of strong alcoholic drinks or two litres of low alcohol drinks; fifty milliliters of perfumery and two hundred fifty milliliters of scented water. It is forbidden to import narcotic and psychotropic substances into the country, cold and fire-arms, printing and video production of the pornographic maintenance. To the Netherlands import of flower bulbs without the document that they are healthy is forbidden, and also import of not tinned meat products. Other not tinned products are declared.

In the Netherlands the use of weak drugs is authorised, but it is forbidden to take out and import drugs into the country. The foreign and national currency can be imported and taken out in unlimited quantity.

Currency import and export are not limited. On entrance from the non EU-members, the sums over 10 thousand euro are subject to the obligatory declaration.

For persons over 17 arriving from the countries which are not within the EU customs area, duty-free import up to 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos, or 50 cigars, or 250 g of tobacco is resolved; to 1 l of strong spirits (the maintenance of alcohol more than 22 %) or to 2 l of strong or sweet wines (the maintenance of alcohol less than 22 %); table wine - to 2 l; no more than 500 g of coffee or 200 g of coffee extract; to 100 g of tea or 40 g of tea extract; to 50 ml of spirits and 250 ml of scented water, and also the goods of personal use from calculation 175 euros on one adult and 90 euros on the child under 15.

On entering from the territory of the EU member states for persons over 17 duty-free import to 10 l of strong alcoholic drinks (the maintenance of alcohol more than 22 %) or 20 l of fortified wine, or 90 l of table wine (but no more than 60 l of sparkling wine), or 110 l of beer is resolved; to 800 cigarettes or 400 cigarillos, or 200 cigars and to 1 kg of tobacco.

Without the corresponding permission import of drugs and drug containing substances, medical substances, fire-arms and an ammunition, the explosives, some foodstuffs, not tinned meat and meat products, pot plants, animals and birds (especially house birds from the countries of South East Asia), and also the notions and souvenir production made of endangered species of plants and animals is forbidden.

Plants, animals and phytogenesis products should be shown to officials of quarantine service. Pets should have the inquiry on inoculations, and also the veterinary certificate given out not earlier than for 10 days before departure.

No permission is required for import of medicines for personal use, but it is necessary to have the prescription issued by the doctor and assured by the notary for many medicines.

Export of subjects and the things representing historical or art value is forbidden.
