The Verb (Глагол)
а) смысловые — выражают действие, состояние, процесс, поэтому всегда переводятся;
б) модальные — выражают не само действие, а отношение к действию (нужно, необходимо сделать что-то, должно быть что-то сделано), поэтому за ними всегда следует смысловой глагол. Эти глаголы тоже всегда переводятся;
в) вспомогательные — не выражают никакого действия, поэтому обычно не переводятся. Эта глаголы служат для образования сложных (состоящих из нескольких слов) форм глаголов;
а) в личной форме — это сказуемое, оно указывает на то, что действие реально происходит (в настоящем, прошлом и будущем);
Participle I, II — причастие I (c окончанием –ing) и причастие II (с окончанием –ed).
а) в повелительном — выражает побуждение, приказание, приглашение к действию, поэтому времени не имеет (действия еще нет);
б) в изъявительном— выражает (реальное) действие в настоящем, прошедшем и будущем времени и может иметь повествовательную, вопросительную и отрицательную форму;
Help me, please! —
Come here!
Be careful!
б) при помощи глагола let (давайте, пусть), после которого идет местоимение в объектном падеже: me, us, him, her, them, it (реже, существительное) и инфинитив без to, например:
Let her read the text once more!
Let them do it!
Let it be so!
Let us help her!
Let's go home! —
Let me do it.
2. Отрицательная форма повелительного наклонения всегда образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола do, после которого стоит частица not (do not, don't), например:
Do not do that! — He делай этого!
Do not let her go!
Do give me the book! —
Do be careful!
Do come to see me!
Present, Past, Future
Aspect (вид):
Indefinite, Continuous, Perfect, Perfect Continuous
