Степени сравнения прилагательных

1. Write down the comparative and superlative degrees of the following adjectives, using -er, -est or more, the most:

Pretty, deep, important, cozy, busy, nice, comfortable, short, small, progressive, long, beautiful, carefully, old, special, cold, quick, easy, remarkable, kind, wonderful, warm, strong, difficult, realistic, attentively, wide, gay, early, big, near, brightly, clearly, late, interesting, energetic, fast, young, dependent, popular, large, heavy, sly, near, rude, polite, respectable, far, distant, slim, clever, shy, high, low, brave, stupid.

2. Complete the sentences with one of the following forms: good/better/best, bad/worse/worst, much/more/most.

  3. She was very ill yesterday, but she’s...today.

3. Complete the sentences with far/farther/farthest/further/furthest:

4. Put the words in brackets into the comparative form:

Fill in blanks with possessive pronouns:

2. Use the necessary form of the possessive pronoun.

1. Would you like to see some of (her, hers) poems?

2. (Their, theirs) knowledge of the subject is not much superior to (our, ours).

3. You take care of (your, yours) things and I’ll take care of (my, mine).

4. (Their, theirs) boat was faster than (our, ours).

5. I’m afraid they will take (your, yours) word against (her, hers).
