  1. Businesstravellers’ problems

Business meetings will always be necessary because people prefer to meet face-to-face. So they have to travel a lot.

Travelling by plane is one of the most popular way to get from one place to other one. First of all, it’s the fastest and the most comfortable way to travel, second of all, it’s safer than other kinds of transport. But even when you travel by plane you can face some problems.

At the airports there are often long queues at check-in. many people have a lot of luggage so you, probably, can’t find luggage trolleys. And finally some of flights can be delayed or canceled because of bad weather or other reasons. Besides, air companies often overbook seats and people should take the next flight because their flight is full.

When you fly, you can see that there’re too many seats on most planes, so there’s not enough leg room. Also you can get poorqualityfood and drink on airlines.

After landing you can have some problems again. For example, your luggage can be lost or delayed. Another big problem for people is jet-lag.

In any case, each of the kinds of transport has advantages and disadvantages and planes aren’t exceptions.

  1. Businesstravellers’priorities

If you travel on business there are some priorities compared with travelling for pleasure. Firstly, it’s a good organization. Someone should organize everything for you: air tickets, transport to and from the airport and accommodation. Secondly, you can choose what is more important for you: cost of the flight or comfort. When you fly about 2 or 3 hours cost is important. When you Travel to a different continent, it’s important to look more at the comfort factor: plenty of space, and the ability to sleep on the flight. And thirdly, for business traveler, it’s a big advantage if you can be very patient because there are often delays and also it’s important to be able to work in the airport. It helps to be very patient because it’s important to be able to work in an economy class or general airport.

  1. Causes and effects of air-rage incidents

Airlines and their long-suffering customers are reporting a steep climb (резкийподъем) in air rage incidents. Some incidents are apparently caused by problems which are familiar to many regular travellers. One case is an interminable delay in takeoff, when passengers were cooped up in their aircraft on the tarmac for 4 hours, without food, drink or information. Mass unrest is less common than individual misbehavior.

Most experts blame alcohol, but people think that the airlines are fault. To cut costs they are cramming ever more passengers into their aircraft, while reducing cabin crew, training and quality of service, all of which increase passenger frustration.

Modern aircrafts are equipped with sophisticated air conditioning devices - but running theem on optimum capacity burns up valuable aviation fuel. Many airlines instruct their flight crews to run system on minimum settings.

Cabin and flight crews, who are in the front line of the battle against disruptive (разрушительный) and dangerous in-flight behavior, have called for stiffer penalties against offenders. There are some signs that the airlines are at last attempting to respond to customer dissatisfaction. Some major lines have announced concessions to the most frequent complaint of all, and are removing seats to make more room for their customers.
